**Overview**
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Local CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves operating tractor\-trailers within local routes, ensuring timely delivery of freight while maintaining safety and compliance standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial driving, with experience handling various types of freight and equipment, including dry van and intermodal container.

**Schedule:** Monday\-Friday, Day Shift
**Job Type:** Full\-Time
**Wage:** $24\-$29 per hour, Depending on Experience

**Essential Job Functions:**
* Learn and work jointly with our customers and IEDS’ dispatching services while providing a superior level of customer service
* Adherence to safety policies and practices
* Safely operate equipment across designated routes
* Secure loads properly to ensure safety during transit
* Maintain a working knowledge of local/state traffic laws and procedures
* Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle to maintain compliance with safety standards
**Minimum Qualifications:**
* Valid Class A CDL \& Medical Card
* Interstate – Must be 21 years of age or older
* Minimum 2 years of commercial truck experience, operating van and Intermodal Container
* No serious or disqualifying violations within the previous three years
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and compliance
* Hazmat Endorsement a plus
