Transload Operator

We are seeking a reliable and safety\-focused Transload Operator to oversee the transfer of materials from railcars to over\-the\-road (OTR) trucks. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and productive operations at the transloading facility. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, and capable of operating both stationary and mobile conveying/loading equipment. This position requires strong attention to detail, problem\-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a team. **Key Responsibilities:** * Safely load bulk trucks from railcars using conveyors and mobile equipment * Operate facility equipment across multiple functional areas * Conduct pre\-shift inspections and complete Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) * Communicate effectively with truck drivers, team members, and corporate staff * Troubleshoot control systems (software, hardware, and configuration issues) * Enter and maintain accurate inventory and activity records * Prepare and submit reports as required * Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, greasing, and cleaning of equipment * Maintain facility housekeeping, including yard cleanup and waste sand removal * Identify and source parts and supplies; manage inventory and packing slips * Ensure office equipment is maintained and serviced * Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental regulations **Required Qualifications:** * High School Diploma or equivalent * 18 years of age or older * Authorized to work in the United States * Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on heavy equipment and systems * Basic computer skills * Ability to complete written documentation and maintain records * Ability to perform basic math calculations * Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment * Strong communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking English) * Self\-motivated team player who can work with minimal supervision * Willingness to work flexible shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays **Physical and Environmental Demands:** * Ability to wear a respirator and required personal protective equipment (PPE) * Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and other weather conditions * Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, reach, squat, crawl, push, pull, and shovel for extended periods **What We Offer:** * Competitive pay * Full benefits package * 401 (k) with company match * Hands\-on work environment * Opportunity to grow technical and mechanical skills * Safety\-focused team culture
