**Hancock County Port and Harbor Commission** **Port Bienville Railroad** Hancock County Port and Harbor Commission (Port Bienville Railroad) is looking to hire a Trainman (Includes brake\-person, switch\-person, and conductor). Hours are typically Monday through Friday 7a.m. to 3:30p.m. with some weekend, overtime and holidays as needed. * **CANDIDATES INTERESTED IN THIS POSITION SHOULD EMAIL A RESUME TO SCOTT LAFONTAINE AT** ***SLAFONTAINE@HCPHC.MS*** The responsibilities of Trainman typically include rail car switching for on\-time car routing, rail car delivery and pickup; train spotting rail cars for loading and unloading; equipment inspections; communicating information concerning train movements and work orders; and assuring all acts are in compliance with company and industry rules and safety. Work is constantly performed out of doors being exposed to all weather conditions. Applicants must be able to exert muscular strength sufficient to push/pull and lift/carry weights of up to 25 lbs. (frequently) and 50 lbs.
