Salary range:
1+ years of experience:$72,200 - $88,000
2+ years of experience: $81,500 - 105,000

These ranges reflect what BNSF Railway reasonably expects to pay for this position, based on the role’s level, scope, and responsibilities. Final compensation and position level will be determined by factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. In addition to base pay and bonus eligibility, BNSF offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Key responsibilities may include:
Â
Perform
research and analysis of contracts, payables, and receivable billing with other railroads, governmental agencies and other entities. Billing types include construction, train movement and other ancillary charges.
Responsible for
 conducting audits and related assignments of receivable and payable projects to ensure billed costs are complete, accurate, supportable and within contractual terms.
Identify and quantify
 root causes and
recommend
solutions to improve controls and current Billable Projects (Revenue Management) procedures and systems.
Present
 audit findings (billing issues, impacts, root causes, solutions) to both Finance & Operations management.
Identify and/or develop
 best practices for contract & invoice audits/reviews.
Proactive and demonstrate ability
to identify potential gaps and opportunities for process improvements.
Strong
attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and deliver results.
Ability
to conduct comprehensive reviews of various types of agreements and analyze contract terms against actual performance and application.

Daily work
is conducted in an indoor office environment.

Basic Qualifications:
Â
Able to work now and in the future without BNSF’s assistance (whether monetary, through sponsorship, or otherwise) in obtaining, maintaining, or extending employment authorization (including H-1B, STEM OPT/CPT, or TN nonimmigrant status).Â
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 1-year professional experience
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with above average knowledge of Excel

Preferred Qualifications:
Â
Degree Accounting, Finance or Business/Operations related field of study
Working knowledge of Disbursements, Accounts Payable, Revenue, and/or Accounts Receivable processes
Experience with SQL, SAP, Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI, or other analytical tools and platforms
Previous audit, forensic accounting or financial analysis experience
