**RAILROAD CONDUCTOR/ENGINEER \& SWITCHMAN POSITION**
Gravity Rail LLC is looking for a **Railroad Conductor/Engineer \& Switchman position** in **Floresville, TX.** This position is responsible for safely and timely unloading of bulk and liquid products from rail cars to Trucks, Iso\-Containers, as well as loading products into Railcars from truck for delivery to customers.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Performs the safe and timely unloading daily of bulk dry products and liquid products from rail cars to trucks, iso\-Containers, as well as loading products into rail cars from truck for delivery to customers.
* SAFETY: Comply with company and federal safety rules, policies and procedures to include wearing required safety equipment, responding to and acting on safety concerns.
* COMMUNICATION: Obtain and receive information and act on oral or written instructions by various communication devices. Monitor and report daily.
* Operates or learns to operate all transloading equipment, performs work safely and productively.
* Performs general maintenance and upkeep on equipment.
* Responsible for maintaining safe and clean work environment by performing housekeeping and clean up on waste or spilled product complying with all Company procedures, rules, and regulations.
* Keeps accurate and orderly records of all products received and disbursed per company requirements.
* Performs all other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.
**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:**
* 18 years of age or older or will be by the anticipated start date.
* Available to work in geographic area indicated.
* Able to read, write and communicate (speak, hear and understand) English.
* Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
* Work on\-call, 24 hours/day, 7 days/week, including nights, weekends, holiday. Work may be seasonal for weather or business.
* Able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. frequently, 60 lbs. occasionally and up to 90 lbs. infrequently.
* Able to use hands to perform activities involving holding, grasping, turning and pulling.
* Able to work on uneven surfaces; frequently climb ladders and get on/off equipment; work at various heights above the ground including on top of locomotives, railcars, and other equipment.
* Able to work in conditions with loud noise and fumes; work on/around heavy/moving machinery; bend, lift, walk, stand, sit for extended time; and use hand tools.
* Follow safety policies and procedures; wear required personal protective equipment.
**SKILLS/TRAINING:**
* Desired Previous Training / Certification: OSHA, Hazwhoper, hazardous materials training. Familiar with DOT, PHMSA, EPA, FRA regulations.
**EDUCATION \& EXPERIENCE:**
High school education or general education development (GED)
Ability to pass training and required testing, Physical, Drug Screen, and Background Check
Preferred 1 year or more of Experience.
