**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:**
As Manager, Customs \& Transportation, you’ll be at the forefront of optimizing our domestic and international logistics operations—ensuring seamless material flow and asset availability across borders. You’ll drive cost\-effective, high\-quality solutions in partnership with business leaders, while managing vendor contracts, budgets, and a talented team. **POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:**
* Lead and manage North American Trade Compliance for imports/exports, ensuring alignment with corporate policies
* Oversee transportation and logistics operations, vendor performance, and regulatory compliance
* Develop and implement trade compliance procedures, training, and manuals
* Ensure accurate customs data (HTS, COO, ECCN, valuation, Incoterms) across the supply chain
* Collaborate with internal teams (tax, legal, IT, procurement) and external partners to ensure compliant cross\-border operations
* Manage customs brokers and logistics providers, supporting timely, compliant deliveries
* Identify scalable solutions to improve compliance, reduce costs, and streamline operations
* Guide day\-to\-day trade compliance matters, including audits, duty programs, and government agency requirements
* Lead sourcing strategies and contract negotiations for customs and transportation services
**POSITION REQUIREMENTS:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Business/Commerce, or a related field with a strong quantitative focus.
* U.S. Licensed Customs Broker or equivalent international certification, education, and experience.
* Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in corporate trade compliance, with demonstrated knowledge of import/export regulations and global trade practices.
* This role requires demonstrated leadership capabilities and a clear aspiration to move into a people‑leadership role in the future
