As a **Logistics Specialist II**, you’ll play a key role in executing day\-to\-day freight operations, ensuring shipments move efficiently, on time, and in line with customer expectations. This is a fast\-paced, execution\-focused role where you’ll manage shipments, resolve issues, and collaborate across teams to keep operations running smoothly.
You’ll work closely with shipping sites, carriers, and internal teams, using tools like a Transportation Management System (TMS) and email platforms to manage high\-volume activity and real\-time problem solving.
**This position follows a hybrid schedule based in Exton, PA (3 days in office, 2 days remote).**
**What You’ll Do**
* Manage the day\-to\-day execution of shipments within a Transportation Management System (TMS)
* Ensure all loads are planned, executed, and delivered on time
* Monitor shipments and proactively resolve issues such as delays, errors, or carrier challenges
* Communicate with shipping sites, carriers, and internal teams to provide updates and resolve issues
* Manage a high volume of emails and system updates while prioritizing urgent requests
* Troubleshoot shipment issues across multiple transportation modes, including Truckload (TL), Less\-Than\-Truckload (LTL), rail, bulk, and specialized freight, escalating when needed
* Support continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and recommending solutions
* Maintain accurate shipment, rate, and operational data within systems
* Assist with resolving billing or invoice discrepancies
**Basic Qualifications**
* High school diploma or GED equivalent
* 1\+ year of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain
* Ability to manage multiple tasks across systems (email, TMS, etc.)
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
* 2\+ year of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain
* Experience using a Transportation Management System (TMS)
* Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
* Experience supporting gas, chemical, bulk, rail, or hazardous material transportation operations preferred
