**Job Summary**

The Group Leaderman will be expected to perform the CEMEX Health and Safety management systems and processes along with the necessary duties to lead a team organized to carry out repair work, maintenance, efficient and accurate inventory measurement, product transfer, product storage, loading and unloading of cement to insure a ready supply of quality cements in the company’s marketplace.
**Job Responsibilities**

* Ability to assume the responsibility for the safety of the employees and equipment of the terminal in the absence of the terminal manager.
* Lead Safety Meeting and delegate work assignments. Lead the daily routines for a team of workers to ensure safe conduct and operations of the cement terminal using the Cemex SBO and SIC process.
* Training the terminal team on all Cemex safety protocols, mechanical equipment, and mobile equipment.
* Distribute daily inventory reports and email communications for the terminal.
* Accept and release rail cars with the local class one railroad.
* Perform all administrative tasks associated with the Cemex APEX system to ensure the correct shipment or reception of cement. Specifically, to include: proper customer, type of transportation, designation, order number, code number, weight (tare, gross, and net), time, seal number, bin number, bulk hopper car number, date and other data that may be currently or subsequently required by the Company.
* Operate and maintain the terminal facility to include unloading systems, loading systems, and dust collection systems. Perform minor maintenance, lubrication, daily inspections to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
* Operate the following equipment, forklifts, railcar movers, and other yard equipment either mobile or stationary, to ensure safe and efficient loading or unloading of cement. Ensures that said equipment is properly maintained and clean.
* Will be required to perform other generalized repair or maintenance work necessary to maintain equipment and facilities in a ready state of repair.
* Perform all Maritime operations as “Facility Security Officer” (FSO) and the coordination of vessel arrivals with the US Coast Guard. (only at maritime facilities)
* Other duties as assigned.
