Construction Foreman

**Now Hiring:** Construction Foreman Northern Plains Services is seeking a Construction Foreman to oversee field operations on track construction projects. This is a field‑focused role with 80%\+ travel, overseeing daily operations, safety, and project execution. **Key Responsibilities:** * Plan daily project activities and ensure proper labor, tools, equipment, and materials. * Conduct daily job briefings, identify hazards, and drive production goals. * Complete daily reports, track time, and maintain logs. * Always maintains a dedication to safety and quality, being the example, educating \& training the workers, and enforcing safe work practices designated by the Company or customer. **Qualifications:** * 1\+ year experience in railroad or Construction Industries. * Valid Drivers Licenses and must have and maintain an insurable driving status which includes but is not limited to NPRS driver provisions. * Class A non\-tractor trailer CDL Required. **Interested? See full job description below!** **Company:** Northern Plains Services, Inc. **Business Unit:** Complete Track Works **Department:** Construction **Travel:** 80% \+ **Schedule:** M\-F 07:00\-15:30 with OT, Occasional weekends, additional hours as necessary. **Summary:** The Construction Foreman reports to the Construction Manager \& is responsible for managing and directing a crew of 4\-8 workers to deliver a successful project by meeting or exceeding corporate or project goals for safety, quality, profitability, and schedule, resulting in extreme customer satisfaction. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities at NPR and other affiliated companies are, but are not limited to:** * Pre\-plans projects and work activities with Superintendent to develop the best means and methods as it relates to standard and safety action plans. * Plans the day\-to\-day operations on assigned project and ensures that proper resources are in place for the timely and safe completion of work, including labor, tools, equipment, and materials. * Takes responsibility for crew performance as it relates to quality, department goals, work performance audits, and company policies and procedures. * Conducts daily job briefings with crew to review the production goals and performance feedback as it relates to efficiency; identify potential hazards, and welcome feedback from the workers. * Always maintains a dedication to safety and quality, being the example, educating \& training the workers, and enforcing safe work practices designated by the Company or customer. * Communicates with customers and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. * Produces daily production reports, tracks project time, keeps equipment logs, keeps inspection reports, administers change orders, and keeps updated project files. * Will perform work on Northern Plains Railroad as directed. **Competencies:** To perform this job successfully at NPRS and other affiliated companies, an individual should demonstrate the foll...
