The US base salary range for this full-time position is provided below:
Salary Range:
$123,750 - $175,000

. Employees may work from anywhere within the contiguous 48 states of the United States

Travel is up to 20%
. Employees will be required to occasionally travel to our corporate headquarters in Fort Worth, TX for in person meetings. Travel expenses for business needs will be covered by BNSFÂ

Key responsibilities may include:

AI Development and Implementation:
AssistÂ
in designing, developing, and implementing AI models and algorithms tailored to railroad operations, including predictive maintenance, scheduling, and safety monitoring.
Collaborate
with senior engineers to apply machine learning techniques to analyze large datasets and extract actionable insights.
Â
Data Collection and Analysis:
Collect, preprocess, and clean
data from various sources (e.g., sensors, GPS, maintenance logs) for training AI models.
Conduct
exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns relevant to rail operations.
Building and maintaining
Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) pipelines for AI applications
.
Â
Optimization and Automation:
Work in partnership
with data scientists to develop AI-driven solutions to optimize train scheduling, route planning, and fuel efficiency.
Support
the deployment of automation tools for monitoring and managing railroad systems.
Â
Testing and Validation:
Participate
in testing and optimization of AI models to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with safety standards.
Monitor
model performance and assist in troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Â
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely
with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, business analysts, to understand their needs and enable AI-driven solutions.
Communicate
technical concepts and project updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Â
Continuous Learning and Development:
Stay up-to-date
with advancements in AI, machine learning, and railroad technologies.
Participate
in training sessions, workshops, and conferences to enhance skills and knowledge.

Authorized to work in the US.
